Many years ago, Penny's Proof started as an opportunity to follow us along the journey to release products entirely made, distilled and matured by us. We are elated to share that we have now reached these incredible milestones, and we want to celebrate it with you all. We are excited to invite you to our Maryland-made Release Party on November 9th at Sagamore Spirit Distillery. Without your unwavering support this dream of bringing back Maryland Rye would have continued to be just that, a dream. We have such an incredible community who have been there with us every step of the way. This event is for you!

Doors open at 11:30 am

First 100 guests in line as the doors open will receive complimentary gift

- Special Distiller Panel Tours will be available at 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm. These special experiences are ticketed and can be purchased via the link below. Spots are limited!

Disaronno USA Virtual Food Drive

To coincide with our Maryland-made Release Party, we have decided to raise money for the Maryland Food Bank through the Disaronno USA Virtual Food Drive. As a new Member of the Baltimore community, Disaronno International USA strives to become a positively contributing member of the community we now call home. Please join us in gathering canned goods for those in need.

From November 1st - 30th you will be able to support Maryland Food Bank by giving a monetary donation or by donating canned goods online. On November 9th we will be accepting canned goods on-site at our Maryland-made Release Party as well.

Is parking available at the Distillery?

Yes, parking is offered onsite within the Baltimore Peninsula.

The Sagamore Spirit and Rye Street Tavern parking lot offers all guests the first two hours free. We will also validate up to four hours within the 250 Mission garage found on 1 Distillery Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. Standard rates apply for any additional hours. We ask that guests coming to visit check out the Baltimore Peninsula parking website found here before arrival.

Will Bottled in Bond be available for purchase?

Why did you decide to increase the age statement of Bonded in Bond 7-year-old expression?

This year’s BIB is very special because this is the first whiskey we made when we started distilling in 2017 that has now reached 7 years of age. We simply love its complex flavor profile, because a good whiskey is always a matter of taste and not only time. Triple distilled and non-chill filtered, this hand-bottled, small-batch release delivers complex layers of rye spice, brûléed sugar, and toasty caramel, balanced with bright notes of orange zest, grilled apricots, and red berries. At 7 years old, this whiskey is an excellent example of Maryland Style whiskey, and we could not be more excited to share it with you.
