A classic spirit-forward cocktail that will never go out of style.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye Whiskey
  • 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 4 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
  • .25 oz simple syrup
  • .25 oz Absinthe (rinse)

Directions

  1. Add bitters, simple syrup and Sagamore Signature Rye Whiskey, and ice into your mixing glass.
  2. Stir until cold.
  3. Rinse a (chilled) rocks glass with absinth and then discard any excess absinthe.
  4. Pour and strain mixture from mixing glass into the rocks glass.
  5. Rim glass with lemon twist and garnish.
